Malcolm Jay
50 YEARS AT THE CRAPS TABLES
Any frequent casino visitor devoting time... and money... to the consistently fascinating table game of craps knows that odds favoring the house are practically unbeatable.
But not always! Malcolm Jay (a pseudonym) has spent untold house of hovering over the green felt tables during a half century of watching the rolling cubes. In this little but information-filled book he divulges his secrets of winning play.
Central to his instructions is sound advice concerning avenues of shaving the casino edge. He is against all proposition wagers...field, hardways... and very much for taking full odds on line bets. He has little regard to "luck" but endorses play at noisy tables where passes are being made and avoiding "grim, silent tables; where sevens are turning up at the wrong time." He offers tips on "comping" (Never play simply because of 'comping') as well as suggestions on "tokes", the practice of tipping workers, from cocktail servers to dealers.
There are myriad books on dice but few have had the advantage of the trial and error experience of this one. A casino host (who requested anonymity) said "It was an honor for me to be taught craps by the most knowledgeable player ever."
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
